What Ripe Leads actually does, in his own words

A quick introduction to RIPE LEADS. We are an international B2B lead generation company helping businesses reach potential clients through targeted outbound outreach.

Our work starts with research. We identify the companies that fit our client’s target market, find the relevant decision makers and build outreach around that specific audience. We then manage the process through cold email and LinkedIn, from the technical setup to ongoing campaign optimization.

RIPE LEADS works internationally, and our campaigns can target individual countries or multiple markets at the same time. A significant part of our current work is focused on lead generation for recruitment and staffing companies across Europe and Asia. We are also expanding our work with companies in the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.

Our experience is not limited to these industries. The same approach can be adapted to other B2B markets based on the client, their offer and the people they need to reach.

RIPE LEADS provides international B2B lead generation, cold email outreach, LinkedIn outreach, B2B prospecting and appointment setting.

Four questions worth asking any outbound agency, including us

If an outbound agency guarantees you a specific number of meetings, walk away. Nobody can promise that honestly. Including us. We just published a guide on choosing an outbound agency, and it is deliberately uncomfortable to write as an agency, because the same questions apply to us. Four things worth asking before you sign anything:

  1. How is the list built? This is where campaigns are won or lost. You want to hear about your ideal customer profile, real sources and verification. If the answer is vague, or it is a large bought database, the rest does not matter much.
  2. How is deliverability handled? Separate domains, authentication, warm-up, volume limits. If they cannot explain how they keep mail out of spam, your domain may end up paying for it.
  3. What counts as a result? Emails sent is an effort metric. Interested replies are an outcome metric. The answer tells you exactly where the risk sits.
  4. How do you report? If the numbers only appear when things go well, that is your answer.

Three warning signs, plainly:

And compare on the cost of one real conversation, not the hourly rate. Two providers at the same rate can deliver wildly different results. Ask us those four questions too. We will answer all of them. Link in the comments. What would you add to that list?

Why most replies never come from the first email

Most replies never come from the first email. Most people stop after it anyway. Someone sends one message, hears nothing, and decides the prospect is not interested. Usually the prospect was just busy. The email arrived at a random moment in their day, got buried, and that was that. It was never a no. It was a not right now. A sequence exists to catch the moment the first message missed.

What actually works: 3 to 5 touches spread across a few weeks. Spacing that widens as it goes, not tightens. Day 2, day 5, day 10. Daily follow-up is irritating. A week of silence means you are forgotten.

Every message adds something new. A different angle, a relevant example, a question that takes one line to answer. “Just following up” adds nothing and quietly asks the reader to feel guilty about it. And then a break-up message that closes the loop politely. That last one reliably pulls replies, because people respond to a door closing.

Adding a proper sequence often doubles the conversations you get without a single new contact on the list. It is the cheapest improvement available in outbound. Guide in the comments. How many follow-ups do you send before you stop?

The mailbox mistake that gets a whole domain blocklisted

A brand new mailbox that sends 500 emails on its first day is behaving in a way no human ever does. Mailbox providers notice immediately. Here is what happens next: Your messages start landing in spam. Your domain reputation gets damaged. Sometimes past repair. And then someone concludes “cold email does not work.” What did not work was cold email without a foundation.

The boring version that does work:

  1. Never send campaigns from your main company domain. If the reputation goes, your invoices and client mail go with it.
  2. Start a new mailbox at roughly 10 to 20 emails a day.
  3. Increase over weeks, not days.
  4. When you need more volume, add more warmed mailboxes. Do not push more through one.

Warm-up takes a few weeks and produces nothing visible while it runs. That is exactly why people skip it, and exactly why their campaigns fail. Full guide in the comments. What is the most expensive outbound mistake you have watched someone make?

The most expensive mistake: outreach from your main domain

This is the mistake I see most often — and the most expensive one. Companies spin up cold outreach, blast it from their main domain to “save setup time,” and a few weeks later their whole company’s email is sitting in spam. Invoices and client replies included. Deliverability isn’t the boring part of outbound. It’s the part that decides whether any of it works. Wrote up how we avoid it 👇

The fastest way to wreck your company’s email reputation? Run cold outreach from your main domain. One aggressive campaign — bad list, no warm-up, spammy copy — and your primary domain can land on a blocklist. Then your invoices, your client replies, your normal business email stop hitting inboxes too. Recovery is slow and painful.

Here’s how we do it at Ripe Leads instead:

  • We never send from your primary domain
  • We register dedicated lookalike domains just for outreach
  • We set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and warm them for ~2 weeks
  • Only then do campaigns go live

Your main domain stays clean — even if a campaign runs hot. Deliverability isn’t a detail. It’s the whole game.

What an in-house SDR actually costs in year one

Thinking about hiring an SDR? Run the numbers first. A single in-house SDR rarely costs just their salary. Add it up:

Realistically you’re at €55,000+ in year one — before a single deal closes. And you carry the hiring risk if it doesn’t work out. With Ripe Leads you get the same pipeline, fully managed, for one flat monthly retainer — and you’re live in 14 days, not three months. Don’t take my word for it. We built a free in-house-cost calculator: plug in your own salary, tools and ramp numbers and compare side by side.

Done-for-you outbound, in four bullet points

Most B2B teams know they need more pipeline. Few have the time — or the deliverability know-how — to build outbound that actually books meetings. That’s what we do at Ripe Leads. Done-for-you B2B outbound:

You don’t manage tools, lists, or an SDR team. You take the conversations and close the deals. Live in 14 days. Your main domain protected from day one. See if outbound fits your business — book a free strategy call.
